The Co$ are blatantly using a new tactic to hurt their critics. That is to inflict misery and suffering on the old and frail parents of critics. They have done this to Dennis Erlich's mother and they have attempted to do this to Gregg Hagglund's 80 year old parents. The idea is to inflict suffering on these old people. To shorten and ruin the last years of their lives with worry and unpleasantness. Of course the idea is to make the critic stop. The message here is "you stop ctiticising us and we'll leave your parents alone".

This is a religion ?

One guaranteed by the US government and supported by Bill Clinton ?

It may be an okay thing for the US government and Bill Clinton but it isn't an okay thing for decent, law-abiding people.

There is a solution to this. And that is stepping up the action against this cult. That is to take the fight to the cult itself.

Instead of just protesting outside the doors of the orgs then why not take the fight inside? There is the staff-blowing flyer. A person could walk into an org with a few copies and give it to staff members with a "this is for you - I hope you read it" and then leave.

That would cause untold damage to the operation of an org as all the willing workes would realise that they are being conned and would eventually walk out.

And as for individual Scientologists - well they could all do with a copy of the "space-aliens are okay" letter being sent to them either by normal post or email. Then they would, in most cases, come to their senses and realise what a stupid cult they were in.

I say "Bring the fight to the Co$". Also "Attack, never defend, always attack" (I don't know where I picked that idea up from).
