Bank Of America Targeted in "War Against Terrorism"
A.L.F. Smashes 30 Windows at Long Island Offices

Long Island, NY - The underground Animal Liberation Front continued its campaign against UK-based animal research giant Huntingdon Life Sciences by attacking their major investor Bank of America at their Long Island offices. The A.L.F. claimed, in an anonymous Communique, to have smashed over 30 windows at the Route 347 office building. In their Communique the activists state that they are joining in the "War against Terrorism," referring to the terrorism that HLS inflicts upon 500 animals every day in their labs.

Animal rights activists have focused their attention on HLS, including all of its shareholders and investors. The Bank of America's connection to HLS is the fact that their entire mutual fund program is run through the controversial investment firm Stephens Inc., the same investment firm which bailed out HLS after its near-collapse at the hands of animal rights activists in the UK.

The A.L.F. have previously targeted HLS-connected companies on Long Island in the past. Earlier this year, the A.L.F. and their sister organization Earth Liberation Front caused major damage another major investor of HLS. Five Bank of New York branches and offices were damaged in June when their windows and ATM machines were vandalized, and their walls spray painted.

"The campaign of economic sabotage against these companies is designed to convince them to divest themselves of their animal cruelty-related associations," comments David Barbarash, A.L.F. spokesperson. "The campaign against HLS investors and shareholders will likely continue for some time to come, until these companies realize that it's simply no longer profitable to be associated with animal cruelty."

This most recent A.L.F. action comes at the beginning of several days of major protest and actions against Stephens. Hundreds of activists are expected to descend on Stephens' head offices in Little Rock, Arkansas for three days of protest, Oct. 27 - 29.

We visited the office of the known terrorist organization, The Bank of America on Route 347 on Long Island, smashing over 30 windows, including 3 huge display windows.

The Bank of America is responsible for the deaths of 500 animals every day at Huntingdon Life Sciences as a result of their involvement with Stephen's Inc.

The Bank of America is a known Enemy Of Freedom For Animals, and until they sever all ties with Stephen's and with Huntingdon Life Sciences, we will continue to make them pay for their crimes.
