The notoriously bizarre Institute for Creation Research (sic) cult
routinely publishes equally bizarre religious notions which they wish to
pretend are some how scientific. This text file takes some of the cult's
own bizarre publications and takes a look at them in extract to show just
how nutty (verging on the insane) these "Modern Day Flat Earth
Society" nuts actually are.

This one's an interesting one. The cult calls this a "DOP" (which
stands for "Days Of Praise") and one's sorely tempted to append an
"E" to the end of it to make it conform to the intellectual merits
of the bizarre piece. Let's take an extracted look at the cult
propaganda, shall we?
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
And apparently Jews, Muslims, Satanists, Scientologists, Mormons,
atheists, et al. are incapable of reflection. One of the more
informative things this text delves in to is the cult's attempts
to justify its existance. Take a look at this:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
See, it's not that the gods and goddesses don't exist, it's that
the gods and goddesses give the priesthood the duty to explain
what the gods and goddesses wish humans to do and to not do. If
some of the humans some of the suspicion that the priesthood is
a frocking pack of liars out to swingle the rubes and to place
themselves in power so they never have to work another day in
their lives, they're "in denial" against the gods and goddesses.
And so the ICR cult. The bizarre ICR cult demands that the
aceptance of the fact of evolution some how opposes their gods
when in fact physical sciences have nothing to say about gods
and goddesses for or against. The ICR cult -- in it's "tenets"
text -- freakishly and egotisticaly states that it thinks it
was created by their gods to try to debunk the directly
observed fact of evolution some how.
Here we have the cult pointedly telling their followers that it's
okay to have the priesthood -- and the ICR -- dictate what the
gods and goddesses demand since presumably they're too busy to
do it for themselves. And the fact that the written mythologies
don't support the priesthood's claims -- and the ICR's claims --
is because these things are too difficult for the common rube
to understand.
Another amusing thing this cult does is try to pretend -- like
so many other cults before them -- that the world is perpetually
about to end. Let's take a look further in the cult's propaganda:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
"This know also, that in the last days perilous
times shall come" (II Timothy 3:1).
-=- End quoted text in extract
Spooky, isn't it? "And coming, and coming, and coming" one is
amusingly tempted to append. What's interesting is that the nut
which writes the following text is aware of the fact that the end
already came:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
According to the classical Christanic mythologies, the Jesus mythos
told its followers that he would return and start the end of the
world before the last of his followers at the time were dead. Here
we have Paul/Saul, the Terrorist of Tarsus, passing away without
the Jesus mytho's promise coming true.
In fact, since these Summarian/Babylonian mythologies were written
at least 2500 years ago, one can safely assume that all of the
deity construct's followers of the time have died. Since I'm sure
the ICR cult would like to demand that the Jesus mythos never lied,
obviously the end of the world already came and went -- and guess
where that leaves those of us who were left behind.
Why does the ICR cult mention the end of the world? Because it's
going to happen tomorow -- always tomorow -- and it's sad that the
rest of the world hasn't accepted the cult's freakishly bizarre
notions:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
So now we find that every Christian which doesn't buy into this
cult's bizarre creationism are not "true" Christians. In the past,
Christians have slaughtered their fellow Christians by the thousands
at a time because they weren't "true" Christians.
So here we are, in the "last days" once again, getting ready for
the end of the world tomorow again, and so many people will fail
to get to heaven because they don't buy in to the ICR cult's
imbecilic notions.
This bizarre text goes on and on however there's a few amusing
high points along the way. Tip a glance at this:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
This sobering verse gives, in a nutshell...
-=- End quoted text in extract
Is there more than just a little irony in a creationist cult's
propaganda even mentioning the words "nut" and "fool?"
Let's see... This one's also interesting:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Actually, the ICR nut is unknowingly refering to the Mithratic
rituals which Paul/Saul, the Terrorist of Tarsus, introducted into
the Christian cult. The slaughtering of the Bull, the bringing
forth of grain, the drinking of the blood, the eating of the
flesh... The ICR nut probably has no idea he's talking about
Lord Mithra which was created at least a century before the Jesus
mythos.
It's also interesting to point out that the Lazarus mythology of
being "raised from the dead" is also a description of the
"rebirthing" Mithratic ritual which Paul/Saul introducted to
the Jesus sedition cult at the time.
Here's one. Read it and see if there's any question remaining in
yor mind as to the sanity of these people:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Science is these people's enemy... it says so right there,
taken in direct extract quote from the cult's own propaganda.
And I just love the amusingly bizarre phrase "godless atheism."
Here's a freakishly bizarre notion:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Apparently this cult thinks they're going to be given new bodies.
I suspect that this notion is motivated by the human need to be
cured of their ills by mystical, magical constructs. I'd further
suspect that the only people who actually fall for creationist
nuttyness are people with serious mental difficulties who do in
fact recognize the need for such cures.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
The nut then goes on to claim that one of their gods does much
the same for humans Here, at least, we find a psychological
admission of sorts as to why some people feel the need to create
gods in the first place.
Ah, this one's even more interesting:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Here's something of an understanding of how and why religion
works and was created. The primate psychology of the Alpha Male
is being described here though it's obvious that the nut has
no notion of the fact.
Deity constructs before the Christanic cult was created used to
put the gods and goddesses on the top of mountains, under oceans,
under rivers, places that mortals had difficulty getting to. It
was common to have Heros and Mortals suffer journies to finally
confront the gods and goddesses in their homes and force them to
undo some imagined or real wrong the gods and goddesses inflicted
upon the Hero or Mortal.
Along comes science which plumbs the ocean debths, examines and
charts the beds of rivers, and has photographed and examined
every mountain peak of the world -- no gods or goddesses found.
The creators of the Christian cult knew that science would be
the undoing of their gods so they placed them in "heaven" where
Heros and Mortals couldn't reach them and thus could not topple
them in accord to primate Alpha Male behavior.
Here we have a nut holding up one of his or her gods as
untochable, unmountable, and yet fully capable of putting down
the upstart Beta Male who would unseat the Alpha if he could.
Truly bizarre. Let's see what's worthy of picking out next. Ah,
this one's also telling:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
And then the nut writes in extract:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
The nut "forgot" to mention the fact that historically it's
always been Christians that have "persecuted" Christians. And in
fact a previous ICR nut demanded that Christians that don't
buy in to the ICR cult's creationism are not "true" Christians.
Historically Cristianity only managed to survive its creation by
being more deadly, most terroristic, more evil than the cults
that Christianity was trying to obliterate. And obliterate them
Christianity did, tearing down temples and slaughtering the
followers of the pantheon until no followers were left and thus
nobody left to believe in those gods.
Christians like to pretend that they're "persecuted" so that
they can pretend they're some how "right" and some how worthy of
one of their gods being killed for them (which is itself a
Mithratic myth.) And part of that pretend "persecution" is the
fact that science doesn't allow for their creationist notions
to be confirmed like the cult wants them to be.
And I kind of like this one:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
This myth reads somewhat like a modern day flying saucer story.
Elsewhere in the Christian mythologies there is actually a story
that talks about two men who come in to town which get beset on
by the towns people who want to homosexually rape their rectums
because that's just what people did at the time. A "good" man
comes to the aid of these two prospective rape victims and comes
up with the claim that they're some how "angels" and thus should
not be raped.
So what does this "good" man do to appease the rapicious mob?
He does what any good man would do: offers the crowd his daughters
to rape instead.
One of the things that the creationist nuts don't do is
read their mythologies cover to cover else they might run across
such wonderful, fufilling, spiritual stories.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
And once again no mention of the previous versions that included
the goddess Lilith. What's amusing is that the next nuts' text
offered in extract holds yet another telling admission:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Which Lord Mithra did at least a century before the upstart Christian
cult came along. Jesus needn't have bothered. And I see further
that the nut has gotten his mythology mixed up:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
According to the early versions of the classical Christanic
mythologies it was the father god of the Jesus god that was to
direct the Satan god to weight a human's "soul" against a white
feather and if the scales tipped finding the "soul" heavy, it
was the Jesus god's duty to escort the human to the underworld.
Some how the ICR cult has followers that mix up the pantheon.
Ah, here's one that ends in what can almost be described as an
orgasm. I've encountered such things numerous times in my inbound
e-mail, coming from people that one can't help but imagining are
masturbating while they type:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Was it good for you?
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
What an unusual mode of coronary failure. Back when the ignorant
savages wrote the Christanic mythologies it was believed that the
human "soul" resided in the heart. It's curious. I wonder if
the ICR cult is still harboring that notion. It would be consistant
with their other equally mistaken notions.
This one's also interesting. I wonder why the editor of this
ICR propaganda failed to catch this mistake:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Woops! The Christanic mythologies are not supposed to contain any
contradictions! Hell, the cult's whole excuse for pretending to
believe the mythologies in the first place is the notion that their
paper idol is without errors and contradictions and actually tell
history as it happened and actually predict the future some how.
Woops!
Amusingly, immediately following is another contradiction admitted
to by the cult:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Which is then followed with:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Woops! Well, the ICR cult can be forgiven not having an editor
on hand to proof read their propaganda. After all, the Summarian
and Babylonian mythologies the cult worships have been on paper
now for at least 2,200 years and nobody's bothered to finx the
errors and contradictions yet.
This one could be interesting. Going a little further in the text
we find:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Actually most people on Earth "react" to the Christian mythologies
as if they were mythologies. And in fact most people on Earth also
"react" to Wonder Woman comic books as if they're comic books --
and for the same reasons.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
The ICR nut is unknowingly describing theLord Mithra's birth
which came before the Jesus mythos by at least 100 years.
Ah, another interesting - and false -- notion. This one ends in
something like looks like an orgasm, too, but we'll exclude that:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
This is a very remarkable prophecy, explicitly predicting
that the future king of Israel would be born in the little
village of Bethlehem, some 700 years before He finally came.
-=- End quoted text in extract
I guess the ICR cult doesn't allow its followers to read the
Soloman tales. According to the Christian mythologies which this
cult worships, the new "king's" name was to be "Michael." Now
one has to ask whether Jesus waylayed Mike on the way to Rome
and beat him to death with his sandals and took his place or
something.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Which Lord Mithra did long before Jesus. Jesus needn't of bothered.
What I'm looking for in this cult's bizarre propaganda from here on
down are things which further expose the creationist occultism
specifically. Some how the cult got away from its primary message
so let's see if they get back to it...
Let's see. The cult seems to know what comets are. That's rather
unexpected. And I see the cult claiming that their gods have some
say-so in what girls and boys do on Earth. Hang on, still looking...
Ah, here's something that pertains to creationism:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Must be talking about creationists who are incapoable of uttering
a truth even when the truth would serve. Let's continue. It
almost looks like the ICR cult's bizarre hate rants against
biological sciences have come to an end but lets keep looking...
Here's something! I had to search but I found another bizarre
creationist claim:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Except that science has recorded and continues to record speciation
events showing that natural processes create new things. But it
looks like the cult's done in this text posting only increasingly
bizarre and illiterate nut rants.
Oh, no, wait... I was wrong. Here's more creationist ranting
against the fact of evolution and also the age of the Earth:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
That's strange. No where in any of the versions of the classical
Christanic mythologies in my library do I find any of the Christian
gods claim that there was any "recent creations." In fact I don't
fid any mention of dates anywhere in the mythologies which would
say just how long ago the Christian Elohim pantheon created the
Earth.
I guess the ICR cult is using versions they discovered -- or maybe
they just penciled in some corrections their gods "forgot" to
mention.
Tellingly we continue to see creationists try to pretend that
the age of the Earth has something to say about deity constructs.
And in fact the age of the Earth and the fact of evolution don't
have anything to say about deity constructs one way or another.
Science doesn't address the untestable, after all, yet here we
have a creationist trying to pretend otherwise.
Let's see if we can find some more. Well, this isn't a nut rant
against science but it's interesting:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
This wonderful verse has been used by the Holy Spirit
countless times to bring a person to the point of
salvation, and rightly so.
-=- End quoted text in extract
Actually the wages of _life_ is death. The deadly notion that there's
something called "sin" has historically been one of the most deadly,
most evil notion as yet concocted by the religious. Historically
the notion that others can "sin" has been used to slaughter said
others with the excuse that it was for their own good to keep them
from "sinning."
The concept of "sin" is equally as deadly as the concept of an
"after life." Both notions have been used millions of times to
justify millions of murders, all on the excuse that it's better
to murder people to keep them from "sinning" and, since the're
going to an "after life," they're not really dead and so it was
not really murder.
Let's see... I see some anti-Semitism, interestingly enough, in
a cult propaganda piece titled "a created people." I know that
many Christian cults call Jews "mud people" but I don't think I
have ever heard of a Christian cult call Jews "created people."
Interesting.
Well, that's it so far as this text is concerned. All in all it
looks like the traditional Creationist insanity fest filled with
self delusions and egotistical justifications for not relenting
their internally acknowledged, willful insanity.

"You can lie about ICR all you want." --

"Thank you for your permission however there's never any need
to.
The holiday season always brings a time of reflection
and thanksgiving to a Christian or a Christian organization..
God granted Aaron and his descendants authority to "serve"
as intermediaries between God and the people. The priests
had no authority to forgive sins (forgiveness comes only
from God), but they were given authority to oversee the
sacrificial process.
PERILOUS TIMES AND THE WORD OF GOD
These sobering words introduce the last message of the
Apostle Paul, just before his martyrdom.
The most disturbing aspect of this situation is that...
people in a professedly Christian society... [reject]
creation and the miraculous aspects of true Biblical
Christianity.
"But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul
shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things
be, which thou hast provided?" (Luke 12:20).
The concept of the shed blood of Christ, offered in
substitutionary sacrifice for guilty and condemned
sinners, is profoundly offensive to the modern mind...
When Christians compromise so readily with the pressures
of modern evolutionary humanism, will they one day actually
surrender to the enemy, when godless atheism reigns?
There are many wonderful things that we as Christians are
looking forward to in the ages to come, when the earth and
our bodies are made new, and the entire beautiful creation
of God is open to us for all eternity.
The rooting reflex is a God-given drive that causes
infants to seek nourishment. Stroking a baby's cheek
stimulates this reflex. A strong reflex causes the
infant to turn its head toward the stroked side. Unless
stimulated and strengthened, a weak rooting reflex will
hinder the baby's growth and development.
One of the most amazing anomalies in human life is the
oft-repeated testimony to God's grace and power unwittingly
rendered by men who would dethrone Him if they could.
"Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not
be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf"
(I Peter 4:16).
As the years went by, the church began to be plagued by
persecution.
Can we imagine how the shepherds felt that night? One
moment they were sleepily watching their flock...,
and the next, they were confronted by "the angel of the
Lord..."
In the beginning, when God created Adam and Eve and
placed them in the "very good" creation...
The entire gospel message runs counter to the human mind.
The Creator dying for the creation.
The Judge paying the penalty for the guilty.
Hail the heav'n-born Prince of Peace! Hail the Sun of
Righteousness! Light and life to all He brings, Ris'n
with healing in His wings. Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die; Born to raise the sons
of earth, Born to give them second birth. Hark! the
herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King!"
To think that the almighty sovereign Creator... would
take up residence in our own hearts!
It is unfortunate that many modern Bible translations
(RSV, NIV, NEB, and others) dilute such key verses as
John 3:16 by changing "only begotten Son" to merely "only
son." This makes the Bible contradict itself...
"How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter?
for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman
shall compass a man" (Jeremiah 31:22).
But God reminds us... He has, indeed, created one new thing
in the earth. Since only God can "create," a really new thing
would have to be produced directly by the Lord Himself.
... the "Gospel" of Christ means, literally, "good news,"
but most people, sad to say, react as though it were bad
news.
At the birth of Christ, His garments were "swaddling clothes,"
and the gifts of the eastern wise men included a supply of myrrh
and frankincense...
"But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among
the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth
unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth
have been from of old, from everlasting" (Micah 5:2).
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but
have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
We live in a corrupt and cynical society, where genuine
honesty is rare.
Only God can create! No psychologist, or guru, or anyone
else can make a "new man" of an "old man." Only God is
Creator...
It is important to recognize the recent creation of all
things, not only because God said so, but also because
the multi-billion-year framework of cosmic evolution,
pushing God as far away and long ago as possible, is
merely the modern pseudo-scientific way of getting rid of
Him altogether! Christians should not compromise with
such a system! HMM
"The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).
