The notoriously bizarre Institute for Creation Research (sic) cult
routinely publishes equally bizarre religious notions which they wish to
pretend are some how scientific. This text file takes some of the cult's
own bizarre publications and takes a look at them in extract to show just
how nutty (verging on the insane) these "Modern Day Flat Earth
Society" nuts actually are.

Oh good grief, this one's amazing. As if China didn't have enough
problems with over population. Here we have the ICR cult's opinion as to
"Would China benefit from Christianity?" One's tempted to ask
the rhetorical question, "Doesn't the world have enough religiously
motivated hatred, willful ignorance, and biogtry as it is?"
The history of religion shows a long and bloody history of abject tyranny
and abject evil, more than half of which was -- and continues to be --
caused by the Christanic cult. Along comes the ICR cult which will, I
suspect, advocate that China could use a good dose of occultism to bring
them into the endless religious wars Christianity has subjected humanity
to. Since China has managed to survive without endless religious wars,
maybe it's time that they could use a solid dose of Christianity to
solve that problem.
Let's see...

Translation: Christian cult followers...

Here we have a creationist cult follower presuming to address the
question as to whether China would benefit from Christianity, offered
by a cult that actually believes the classical Christanic mythologies
are some how science and that evolution doesn't take place some how.
As if China doesn't have enough problems without an increase in the
overall illiteracy and scientific ignorance of its populace.
The cult's plan:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Which is something Christians don't agree on. Here we have a freakishly
bizarre Creationist cult that the vast majority of Christianity recognize
as absolutely nuts presume to suggest he's going to explain to the
Chinese government what Christianity is. Previously in other cult
propaganda pieces the ICR cult has refered to "true Christianity" as
being only those variations of the cult which believe in creationism.
And in fact creationists are a pathetic minority among Christians and
most Christians look upon their creationist brothers and sisters with
more amusement than pity.
What's next in this cult's plan?
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Translation: "I assumed that the Chinese government already knew
what Christianity is however I want to try to make them believe that
true Christianity actually requires a belief in creationism.
The third prong in the cult's battle plan for the eventual domination
of China:
-=- End quoted text in extract
I have to wonder if handing over one's daughter to a rampaging mob
of rapists so that they don't rape "angels" is an acceptable "timeless
Biblical principle" that the ICR cult would like to instill among
the Chinese people. Here's another "timeless Biblical principle:"
See, China could benefit from an ideology which makes slaughtering
every last man, woman, and male child and kidnapping the surviving
virgin females for endless nights of rape and slavery.
The bloocy history of Christianity should be a clear object lesson for
what "timeless Biblical principles" mean to civilization.
The cultist then informs us that the conference in China didn't take
place but there's always the hope that some day...
It looks like what we're then treated to are the ICR cult's notes
for the planned talk which never took place. Let's see what the steps
are in the overthrow of China to religious ignorance:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Yes, I agree: Let the Chinese government know right up front that
some Christians exhibit a pathology that damn near screams out for
certification as pathologically insane. I agree. Get that out in
front right away least there by any doubt. And if any iota of doubt
remains, we proceed to step number 2:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
All people alive today descended from the created pair,
and, more recently, from the few survivors of the flood.
-=- End quoted text in extract
That should clinch the insanity defense right there.
Then the ICR cult proposes to stuff their other foot in where the
previous one went:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
The basic laws of science, the laws of thermodynamics, are
precisely predicted by creation theory. They show that
evolution by strictly natural processes, violates natural
law, and therefore is impossible.
-=- End quoted text in extract
The ICR cult has never managed to present supportable evidence for such
claims here in the United States so I'm wondering why they think they
can some how come up with suitable evidence to present in China.
Do Creationists think that the Chinese are less intelligent than their
American brothers and sisters? Only a pathetic part of the American
populace actually buys in to creationist occultism -- and for all the
obvious reasons. Does the ICR cult think they'll do better in China?
If so, why do they think they would?
Then the cult proposes to try to pretend that evolution is some how
evil:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
See, the directly observed fact of evolution some how brings the
world much sorrow. And some how Adolf Hitler factors into the picture.
Some how. Starting out pretend that evolution some how described or
dictates how one species is "superior" or "inferior" to another
(something which evolution doesn't encompass and something which no
theory of evolution contains) the cultist then proceeds to hold up a
racist, marrying the two together with duct tape so that the cult's
bizarre argument will hang together long enough for the Chinese to
laugh at the resulting characterization.
And does the cultist go on to explain-away Christianity's atrocities
and the fact that Adolf Hitler was a staunch Christian who enjoyed
the official sanction of the majority of Christianity in Europe at
the time Hitler was exterminating people?
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
No mention of Christianity's history nor its current general demand
that abortion is wrong and that over population to the point of mass
starvations and infant deaths are to be religiously perfered. And
China's population is already unsupportable.
And, thanks to George "Dubya" Bush, the Christians and the Muslims
are at it again, slaughtering each other with as much glee and joy as
they've always had while the better educated around the world watch in
horror and hope that they, the atheists of the world, don't get
splattered by the predations of the religiously insane among them.
And to make it worse, we also have India and Pakistan currently getting
their armies together along their respected borders, bringing nuclear
weapons up with every intention to use them "if provoked."
Isn't religion wonderful? Isn't religion a "force for good in
society?"
After the ICR cult ignores Christianity's history we get to the next
step in the plan for China:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
Man, created in the image of God...
-=- End quoted text in extract
The gods would be insulted if they actually existed.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Someone forgot to inform the ICR cult that humans are animals. There
may be the presumption that humans are made of wood or that they're
minerals; the ICR cult doesn't say, only asserting that some how humans
are some how not animals. At the same time the ICR cult ignores the
research into primate behavior (which includes humans) wherein other
animals exhibit all of the traits which humans do. Indeed, we see
the bald assertion:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
As do many other animals. Reciently on Nova, a television series that
can be viewed opn public broadcasting television stations, primatologists
conducting research in the field on just this question (whether the
other primates know right from wrong) offered crushed coconuts to
small groups of primates. When offered this treat the primates offered
voice cues, calling other primates to come join in eating the treat.
The primatologists then started selecting lone primates, secretly
slipping them crushed coconuts without alerting other primates that one
had been singled out to receive the treat. In these tests the primates
given the crushed coconuts looked around to see if any of the others
were observing the primate and whether any of the others had seen the
coconuts and were coming over to share them.
In those cases were they were observed, the primates called out to
the others in the area to let them know that they could come share
ine the treat. In those cases where they were not observed, the
primates looked around to make sure and then walked over to the
coconuts, collected the fragments while continueing to look around to
make sure they weren't observed, and then walked off to eat the treats.
If discovered they gave voice to alert others to come share.
And just try telling guardians of dogs that dogs don't know right
from wrong.
In this propaganda piece the cult then tries to claim that the classical
Christanic mythologies...
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
I guess that they're not allowed to read the Christian mythologies at
the ICR cult where women are treated as property and it's repeatedly
perfectly okay to slaughter every last man, woman, child, and animal
in a city just because the Christian gods demand it.
Let's skip forward past equally pathetic claims... We see some silly
notions about economics and capitalism... Another false claim that
economics some how has something to do with evolution... We see an
equally bizarre series of notions about health care... Ah, here we
finally get to something worth pointing out:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
>-WHAM!-> goes the irony meter. The ICR cult demands that reality be
"filtered" through the Christanic mythologies when demonstrable facts
don't agree with the mythologies. But even worse, even when the
classical Christanic mythologies have nothing to say about some fact,
creationists often like to pretend it does so that they can deny the
fact and what their own senses and reason is telling them.
The cultist then goes on to pretend that "Christian principles" have
something to do with enacting just laws. There's an insult to the
Chinese government.
Arguably this propaganda piece is about the most idiotically stupid
one I've yet seen in this critical series. The supposition that China
-- or _any_ country -- benefits from occult superstition claptrap
being sold as if it were science is profoundly idiotic given the fact
of human history and the specific history of what happens when a
populace embraces occult superstition.
What kind of a sick bastard ignores Christianity's bloody, tyranical,
absolutely evil history and glibly demands that Christianity should be
inflicted upon China?
Well, that would solve China's over population problem, yes.

"You can lie about ICR all you want." --
Jason Daniel Henderson
"Thank you for your permission however there's never any need
to.
Christian professionals...
... were asked to address the specific question: "How would
opening the door to Christianity benefit China?" I agreed
to participate as ICR's representative...
....they must first know what Christianity is.
... Next, I assumed that they had only heard an incorrect
caricature of Christianity...
...Finally, the conference had to adhere to timeless Biblical
principles, applied in a culturally relevant setting.
Numbers 31:17-18
"Now therefore kill every male among the little
ones, and kill every woman who hath known man by
lying with him. But all the women children, that
have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive
for yourselves."
Beginning with Creation, the Biblical flow of history
must be laid out.
The Origin of the Nations...
...Scientific Support for Creation
The naturalistic/evolutionary view has brought the world much
sorrow. From Hitler's racial genocide to Stalin's as well as
to many wars. Millions have died in the name of "survival of
the fittest."
On the other hand, Christianity long has been a force for
good in society. In China, many food relief programs,
hospitals, universities, schools, etc., were started in
the name of Christ.
...What is Man?
...has certain abilities and characteristics distinct
from the animals....
He has the ability to discern right from wrong..
....describes guidelines for interpersonal relationships. It
teaches the value of family stability; of motherhood; of
harmony between individuals...
Brainwashing students in a certain perspective does not
produce thinking, mature individuals who are committed
to the espoused doctrine and loyal to their superiors.
Creationist propaganda is already self-debunking." --
