The notoriously bizarre Institute for Creation Research (sic) cult
routinely publishes equally bizarre religious notions which they wish to
pretend are some how scientific. This text file takes some of the cult's
own bizarre publications and takes a look at them in extract to show just
how nutty (verging on the insane) these "Modern Day Flat Earth
Society" nuts actually are.

In this text we find the bizarre cult explaining what their amusing
euphemistically titled "Tenets of Scientific Creationism" are.
The cult forgets to mention the fact that there's no such thing as a
"scientific creationism" since the term is an oxymoron. Let's
take a brief look of their "tenents" in extract, shall we?
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
It would be nice if they came up with evidence for this "creator"
thing of theirs, wouldn't it? In fact the cult is admitting here that their
notions are matters of occultism, not science since they lack evidence for
their deity constructs.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Which is merely a repeat of their previous unfounded notion.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Which is once again another repeat of their previous notion. What we find
is that no creationist cult has yet managed to explain what exactly a
"kind" is and how it fits into the tree classifications of plants
and animals. The classical Christanic mythologies uses the poorly
translation selected word "kinds" and nuts are stuck with trying
to pretend it some how has some meaning. And in fact the mythologies were
written by ignorant desert dwellers who had about as much an education as
creationists have. Specifically, very little worth mentioning.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Again, just anothr repeat of the cult's first claim. What no creationist
cult has yet managed to explain is the previous versions of the classical
Christanic mythologies which originally started out with the goddess Lilith
and the god Adam. According to the early versions of the Christian Bible
Lilith was given an Adam and because Lilith was sexually less immature than
Adam was, Adam demanded of the Elohim pantheon a "diminished"
wife which he could sexually dominate. The Elohim gave Adam a wife called
"Eve" and Lilith went out of the "Garden of Eden" to
form the "other tribes" the classical Christanic mythologies talk
about yet fail to explain since the mythologies are heavily hacked up and
modified.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
This is the so-called "flood of ignorance" Creationists are well
noted for. These nutters actually demand that there was a world-wide global
flood because they actually believe the Epic of Gilgamesh mythologies in the
classical Christanic mythologies they worship. The fact that there's no
evidence for any such flood doesn't detract the nuts from demanding
otherwise. They're known to look at rivers such as the Colorado River,
look at the slow and steady work the river did to carve out the Grand
Canyon, and then glibly and without any thought what-so-ever demand that
it was a world-wide flood that dun it.
Nobody said these unsalted nuts were bright.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Which is another unevidenced notion that's a restatement of the bizarre
cult's first notion. Without any evidence for these invisible playfriends
of theirs, they can't demand what their invisible playments can do and
what they can't do.
This notion, incidentally, is anti-Christian, having more to do with
Ghnosticsm than fundamentalist right-wing Christian lunacy.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
The bizarre cult thinks that the "Garden of Eden" myth in the
classical Christanic mythologies are actually real history and so the
"sin" that gets blamed on the woman in the male-dominated
Summarian mythologies the Christian cult modified are some how a
punishment by the Christian gods and goddesses.
The Mormon cult takes the insane notion one step further, claiming that
human blood has changed over the centuries since the "Garden of
Eden" myth. In fact science finds that human DNA has changed very
little over the centuries with differences appearing in the DNA sequencing
according to sexual isolation -- exactly as is predicted in evolutionary
science theories.
Indeed, the atrophied evolutionary cast-off sequences in the DNA and RNA
of all living or once-living things not only is predicted by all the
contemporary evolutionary theories, the fact debunks the cult's amusing
notion that evolution doesn't happen some how. The fact that each cell
contains millions of examples of evolutional history of every species is
apparently discarded ot-of-hand since the classical Christanic mythologies
some how forgot to mention the existance of DNA.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
And to Creationists, that purpose is to try to find evidence to support
their notions at the cost of truth, reason, and science.
What the physical universe whos science is that there's no
"purpose" to existance or to life itself other than the simple
fact that what is, _is_. The stark truth frightens unsalted nuts who are
faced with modern science's truth that there's no Big Daddy looking fondly
down on Junion, standing ready to cure a scraped knee or save the world
from nuclear war.
What science finds is that the universe cares not one iota for humanity,
for dolphins, for moons, stars, and planets. What science finds is that
not only are no gods evidenced, no gods or goddesses are _needed_. The
universe, humanity, dolphins, and the oribits of the planets and stars in
all the galaxies all manage to exist without the help from gods and
goddesses and that there's no "purpose" since there's nothing
which can exist which could _have_ a "purpose."
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
The cult ends up trying to demand that just because they don't accept
science which evidences the fact of evolution, they're free to deny it
because nobody understands science. And in fact the various competing
theories of evolution are well understood, demonstrably evidenced, and
are not subject to belief or disbelief. Surely they're subject to
acceptance or denial and in that choice creationists decide to choose
denial.
So in other words, their "tenets" of "scientific
creationism" all boils down to "gods dun it." That's not
very convincing yet it does show the abject stupidity of
creationists which verges upon insanity.
As an added treat, the creationist cult now tries to bifurcate a secondary
set of "tenets" which wind up being a rehash of their first
unevidenced notion of "guns dun it." Here we have offered in
Fair Use extract the critical debunking of the cult's equally bizarre
"Tenets of Biblical Creationism." See if you can spot any
differences between the previous

The ICR cult apparently doesn't know how many gods they have. They count
them all up and come up with one yet in the same sentence they claim it's
three. No wonder they're confused. Science finds that no gods or
goddesses are required yet here we have the ICR cult trying to piece
together the numerous gods and goddesses of the classical Christanic
mythologies so that they end up with one god -- or is it three?
Some of the religions which Christianity is based on have multi-headed
gods and demons. Janus, of course, is the two-headed god which predated
the Christanic deity constructs. Kerebus is the three-headed demon dog
that guards the gates of Neifelheim. In this the three-headed Christian
god more closely resembles the demon that guards Goddess Hel's underworld
domain. The Goddess Hel is also a deity construct which predates the
Christian mythos:
In the Middle Ages she became confounded with the
kingdom she ruled over, and eventually the double
conception was held to be synonymous with hell.
- The 1948 release of The American Peoples Encyclopedia
Here we have a Christian cult deanding they have a god with the heads more
in keeping with the demons of the underworld.
And did you notice that this first "tenent" of "biblical
creationism" is no different than their first "tenent" of
"scientific creationism? Look closely and you'll find that this
cult's "science" is nothing but religious beliefs firmly
predicated in the denial of science.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Which accounts for all the contradictions and scientific blunders in the
classical Christanic mythologies.
It's a good thing for creationists that their deity constructs don't exist.
I would expect that any gods or goddesses who get blamed for such a pathetic
piece of work as the collection of reworked and heavily buggered mythologies
would be rather insulted for such libel as Creationists say about them.

How's that for profoundly insane? Science finds that the universe
itself is something around 15 billion years old and that the universe is
on its expansion phase. If the universe is closed, the universe will fall
back in on itself taking at least another 15 billion years. If the
universe is open it'll continue to expand and, because it's been determined
that protons decay after extremely long periods of time, eventually the
universe will literally evaporate away.
The Earth has been determined to be approximately 5 billion years old and
it's been determined that simple life forms were on Earth about 4 billion
years ago; it took natural processes a billion years to form
self-replicating molecular arangements, whatever they were.
Now along comes this bizarre cult to demand that the Earth was created
along with everything on it in six days. They're demanding that evolution
progress on a massively extreme scale. The cult ignores utterly the
scientific findings that show that it took a billion years for even the
simplest of self-replicating molicules to form.
The freakish cult also can't explain why the parallax to stars shows the
universe needed at least 15 billion years to be "created."
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
It's not as if the cult isn't aware of the fact that previous versions of
the classical Christanic mythologies contains the goddess Lilith. Indeed,
denial of Lilith means the cult can't explain who these "other
tribes" are the Elohim pantheon talks about in the mythologies.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
That's strange. I don't seem to find any mention of that anywhere in any
of the versions of the classical Christanic mythologies I have on my shelf.
Perhaps the ICR cult is selfishly holding on to versions of the mythologies
which they discovered and want to keep to themselves. Or perhaps the cult
pencils in things their gods "forgot" to mention.
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
And in fact the notion of "sin" has been and continues to be one
of humanity's most destructive religious notions yet conceived. When
Christians weren't slaughtering Jews to "save" them from
continuing to commit "sin," they were slaughtering themselves and
their intellectual superiors to save _them_ from "sinning."
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
<laughing> Yes, it's freakish. But this is creationism, folks. It
is informative to note that the cult demands that its followers sign a
statement attesting to their religious beliefs. In this "tenets"
text which has been examined here in extract the cult has offered the
following:
-- Begin quoted text in full -=-

And science is thereby ignored no matter how foolish it makes the cultists
look to their fellow Christians -- and to scientists.
One of the more telling aspects of this bizarre cult is the insane notion
that the fact of evolution some how has something to do with deity
constructs. In this "tenets" text the cult offers the following
notion for its followers:
-- Begin quoted text in extract -=-
-=- End quoted text in extract
Amusingly, the fact of evolution says nothing either for or against gods
and goddesses. The fact of evolution is simply an observed phenomena and
the various coimpeting theories which describe the observed evolution of
species says nothing about gods.
Note the audacity of this cult: Their gods not only created the universe,
the Earth, and all life on Earth, their gods also created the ICR cult to
warn humans about how evolution is some how hurting their gods' feelings
or something.
Nobody said creationists were even remotely sane.
