I was sitting here, going through the archive for old ARS articles, when
I stumbled upon this article from Helena Kobrin.
In the light of what happened on ARS, and elsewhere on the net,
regarding the wild dissemination of the cults secret scriptures, after
this and other threats from the crime cult, I actually find the below
article from Helena Kobrin, extremely amusing :-)

To a.r.s. readers:
On August 15, 1995, the Honorable Harry L. Hupp, United
States District Judge, of the Central District of California,
issued an order sealing the copies and versions of the
Scientology religion's copyrighted and trade secret protected
documents pending final resolution of issues now pending in
Church of Scientology International v. Fishman, et al., No. CV
91-6426 HLH (Tx).
This order blocks access to the Advanced Technology filed by
the defendants in that case, thus foreclosing unauthorized
persons from mistakenly claiming any entitlement to copy and
distribute any of those materials without the permission of
Religious Technology Center (RTC), the exclusive copyright
licensee and trade secret owner.
These materials are not now and never were "public record
documents" and now, even the excuse that there has never been a
formal order sealing the Fishman case file is unavailable.
Copying or other distribution or publication or use of any such
documents or copies of them without the consent of RTC violates
copyright and trade secret law and will subject the infringer or
misappropriator to an enforcement action which could expose the
transgressor to restraining orders, writs of seizure and
impoundment, injunctions, and in the case of copyright
infringement, damages of up to $100,000 per infringement.
If you have copies of materials purporting to be copies of
any of the Advanced Technology materials, you are instructed to
turn them in to the undersigned forthwith.

"The court record is replete with evidence that Scientology is
nothing in reality but a vast enterprise to extract the maximum
amount of money from its adepts by pseudo scientific theories... and
to exercise a kind of blackmail against persons who do not wish to
continue with their sect...The organization clearly is schizophrenic
and paranoid, and this bizarre combination seems to be a reflection
of its founder, L.Ron Hubbard."
Judge Paul Breckenridge, Los Angeles Superior Court
