Tonight 4 of us picketed the bank building at Cleveland and Ft.
Harrison in Clearwater from about 6:15pm to 7:15pm. Mary DeMoss was
sitting on the bank steps talking on her cell phone when we arrived.
She got up and left. Later Maureen O'Keefe came by and left. "Bub",
the 2nd most physical Scientologist, came by but didn't talk to us.
Moxon was out on Watterson street for a moment, but when I started
videotaping him he rushed back inside.
So it was sort of strange - we saw our handlers but they didn't
really handle us.
Most of the picket was near Watterson street since many buses were
coming there to load and unload.
A local came by towards the end and talked to us.
That's about it. Pretty quiet except the usual car horn honks in
support of us.
When a Scientology staffer used a syringe to force a mixture of
aspirin, Benadryl and orange juice into McPherson's throat while others
held her down, it was "spiritual sustenance," the church argues.
