A suspected Algerian terrorist arrested at the Canada-U.S. border last
year with a trunkload of explosives belongs to a Montreal-based
"radical Islamic fundamentalist" cell financed by Osama bin Laden, a
French judge will testify at the man's upcoming trial.
U.S. prosecutors have filed notice with a Seattle court that they
intend to call the judge as an expert witness at the trial of Ahmed
Ressam, accused of building a powerful bomb in a Vancouver motel room
that was meant to "punish America."
