Can I pray for you?

Frederic:
It's good to hear from you. The last time I heard from you, you were
talking about evidence of my gods, well, I do have evidence, but I have
only one God, His name is Jesus. I have alot of proof and my cousins
proof is below. I don't have much time right now, but if you're
interested I can give you the proof that I have.
I have found that Jesus can be found using the scientic method.
Here's my findings: I was looking for "proof" of God's
existence 3 1/2 years ago. When I opened the Bible, I knew I could
not believe a word that was written, so I challenged the scriptures
that I could prove. Acts 4:12 says, "Neither is there
salvation in any other for there is no other name given among
men whereby we must be saved."
I went to the library and checked history and cult books. It was
true! In all the years of history there has never been another
name whereby you must be saved.
Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped
for." I had to admit that this verse was true. I was hoping that I
could believe in a God who loves me. As I read the scripture, my faith
began to grow (Romans 10:17), and one night I confessed all my sins to
God (1 John 1:9)...I was awakened out of a deep sleep about 2 a.m. with
intense chest pain.
Being a nurse, I immediately suspected that I was
having a heart attack, but when I opened my eyes, I say two "human"
faces standing over me with intensely evil expressions. The whole room
seemed to be filled with evil. I was so astonished I did not know what
to say. Then these words came out of my mouth, "Quick Jesus, fill me
with your Holy Spirit because 'greater is He that is in me than he that
is in the world (1 John 4:4).'"
As soon as those words came out of my
mouth the pressure lifted, those horrible faces were gone and Jesus
filled me with the most wonderful, loving peace that I cannot describe
(Matthew 12:28).
So now, I personally have proof that Jesus is real and that He is who He
says He is. I have experienced Him for myself, and I have told many
others about what I've seen and experienced, and they have experienced
Jesus for themselves, thus proving that this was not a "one time"
phenomenon.
Fredric, God loves you and all of mankind. He wants to bless your life
and make it full and complete. He offers you not only an abundant life
here and now, but a life which is eterna. - His very own life. "For all
have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 The
saying,"Well, we are just human-nobody is perfect," is biblically
sound. When we acknowledge this truth, we can see our seperation from
God, for He is holy.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 To
continue in sin will result in spiritual death, which is separation from
God forever. The alternative is to personally receive God's free gift,
which is pardon for sin and provision of life everlasting.
"But God
commendeith His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 You may think you must lead a "good"
life and do charitable acts before God will love you. This is not so.
God loves you even in your sin. He sent Jesus Christ to kie in your
place and to pay the penalty for your sin so that you can be reconciled
to Him. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should
boast." Ephesians 2:8,9
Grace means undeserved favor. God graciously
offers to you what you could never do for yourself. God's gift to you
is free. you do not, and cannot, work for a gift. All you need to do
is receive it. Believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ died for
you to provide deliverance from your sins and to give you eternal life.
"But as many as received Him (Christ), to them gave He power to become
the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." John 1:12 When
you receive Christ-when you accept what He has done for you-you become a
child of God.
Picture, if you will, Jesus Christ standing at the door
of your life. Invite Him in. He is waiting to be received into your
life. You can invite Jesus Christ into your life right now by praying
to God something like this...Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and
that I need your forgiveness. I believe that Christ died in my place to
pay the penalty for my sin and that He rose from the dead. I now ask
Jesus Christ to come into my life as my Savior. Thank you for making me
your child.
Help me learn to please you in every part of my life. "For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans
10:13
Can I pray for you? There will be proof there that you can experience
for yourself.
