   for you, it's true." (I.e., if not-A is true for you, not-A is true [for
   you].) 

i got the quote out of the indianapolis star.  a sunday issue about 2
or three weeks ago.  i don't recall if they gave a source.  if not, i
could probably do some digging to see if i can find it in one of my
other sources.  it sounds familiar, like i read it somewhere else too.
or at least the context surrounding it somewhere else.
