I would like to make it clear that I was not laboring under the
misapprehension that (LRH is not dead, but retired and writing
bad science fiction).  I thought the smiley I put in the posting
would be sufficient to make that apparent.  So much for subtlety...

Concerning book vandalism, I have received a firsthand account
(requesting anonymity) that such vandalism is indeed encouraged
by Scientology.  It might be possible to combat this kind of thing
by making suppressed works (with the permission of the authors)
available via ftp on the net...

When I get enough references, I will probably post a bibliography
to the net.  Keep 'em coming.
