The following are some of the criminal activities for which there is good reason to believe that either Scientology or its minions have participated in.

There is no particular order in this list; I'm writing them down as examples of their violations come to me.

Forgery Tax fraud Tax evasion Filing false police reports Destruction of private property Destruction of government property Sailing on international waters without a flag Construction without a building permit Construction in violation of zoning ordinances Practicing medicine without a license Manufacture and sale of unlicensed pharmaceuticals Manufacture and sale of unlicensed medical equipment False advertising Criminal endangerment Theft Breaking and entering Obstruction of justice Criminal confinement Kidnapping Child neglect Attempted murder Rape

Also, numerous violations of the international code of maritime conduct, many by LRH himself. LRH also violated international law during his military service by ordering his ship to fire upon neutral territory during a time of war.

I am sure there are others.

I find any claim that Scientology is a "law-abiding" organization to be at best laughable. -- "I'm Tom Bodett for Motel 6. We'll leave the maid out for ya." -- Sean Patrick Ryan (fsspr@acad3.alaska.edu)
