Since some of the materials which describe the $cientology cult could be
considered to be copywritten materials, I have censored myself and The
Skeptic Tank by deleting any and all possible text files which describes
the cult's hidden mythologies.  I have elected to quote just a bit of the

Further accusations against housing minister

New allegations of abuse of power were levelled here Monday
against embattled Minister of Regional Planning and Housing
Irmgard Schwaetzer, according to two daily newspapers.

The Berliner Zeitung and the Tageszeitung reported in editions
due to hit the streets Tuesday that in July 1991 Schwaetzer had
promoted a brochure on prefabricated housing published by an
executive of the Church of Scientology.

The ministry of regional planning and housing replied that it was
not then known that the brochure's publisher was linked to a
"dubious organisation."

Last week newspapers accused Schwaetzer of having endorsed a real
estate agent, and also of having used an official letterhead to
send an eviction notice to one of her tenants. The opposition
Social Democrat Party (SPD) called for Schwaetzer's resignation.

But Chancellor Helmut Kohl saw "no reason for her to resign," his
spokesman Dieter Vogel told journalists.

The press campaign against Schwaetzer follows the scandal of
economy minister Jurgen Moellemann who resigned January 3 after
it was disclosed that he had used his letterheads to promote a
product manufactured by a relative.
