Since some of the materials which describe the $cientology cult could be
considered to be copywritten materials, I have censored myself and The
Skeptic Tank by deleting any and all possible text files which describes
the cult's hidden mythologies. I have elected to quote just a bit of the
questionable text according to the "Fair Use" legal findings afforded to
those who report. - Fredric L. Rice, The Skeptic Tank, 09/Sep/95

Mr. Miller, maybe you don't understand this.
Your religion, if you choose to call it a religion, teaches you
to attack in order to defend and expand your religion. In and of
itself, this makes some sense; I can see the logic, and it _did_ get you
this far.
However, now you've met the 'net. And, while you have been
attacking -- which is probably good -- is hasn't been enough.
That's not my point.
My point is that, above, you are _defending_. Not attacking.
What does that mean? Well, it basically means that, you, Mr. Miller,
have been bogged down. You have no time to attack, because you are on
the defensive. Meanwhile, on other fronts, others attack your religion
while you're unable to do anything about it.
Don't you get it? These people here are forcing you to stay
here, while they proceed to rip your friends apart elsewhere.
Even if what you say is the truth, you can't defend against so
many at once. Your best chance is to surrender this battle and go win a
whole bunch of others, cutting off support so that you can _return_ to
this battle.
In the mean time, no matter how sad the flames you receive, your
opponents are winning.
Think about that.
