Since some of the materials which describe the $cientology cult could be
considered to be copywritten materials, I have censored myself and The
Skeptic Tank by deleting any and all possible text files which describes
the cult's hidden mythologies. I have elected to quote just a bit of the
questionable text according to the "Fair Use" legal findings afforded to
those who report. - Fredric L. Rice, The Skeptic Tank, 09/Sep/95

RI-230i 'Validating Pretended Rightness'
from Ron's Inspector
Message # RI-230i for Internet
Validating pretended rightness is about validating things
which a psychotic or suppressive does right.
The point is that psychotics and suppressives
do certain things right
and demand validation of having done these things right
IN ORDER TO COVER UP
that they want to be and remain psychotic or suppressive.
So, what you are actually validating then,
is their successfully executed intention to cover up
that they actually only want to destroy and suppress.
But if you don't validate them, they will heavily accuse you
and they will try to make others accuse you,
of "not validating their rightness,"
of "not validating things they did right."
This is a common accusation coming from a Suppressive to you.
In actual fact, if you care to look,
HE never validates the rightness of others,
but he does validate the pretended rightness of suppressives.
In other words,
if you do not validate a suppressive or a psychotic
- for the good works he does in order
to cover up his destructiveness and suppressiveness -
then the suppressive or psychotic
will accuse you of suppressing him.
This is quite a severe problem
in handling suppressives or psychotics:
what does he do right which is ACTUALLY right?
HE certainly does not know that,
otherwise he wouldn't be a psychotic.
So you have to figure this out for him
and then indicate it to him,
and he will be quite surprised:
"Gosh, THAT is survival? I never thought it would be!"
Normal people do good works and should be validated.
Psychotics and suppressives do good works
solely in order to cover up
their destructive and suppressive actions.
These should NOT be validated,
as they are not really good works at all,
and these 'good works' are done solely
to create more evil and suppression
in that area or in other areas.
Good works done by decent people,
and good works done by suppressives or psychotics
are NOT the same thing.
One must be validated,
the other must not be validated,
as you would in fact be validating suppression.
Even the suppressive who 'cares for his son',
does so in order to prevent the son
from finding out that his father is a suppressive,
and THEREBY harms the son much more
than if he would openly not care for the son.
