Since some of the materials which describe the $cientology cult could be
considered to be copywritten materials, I have censored myself and The
Skeptic Tank by deleting any and all possible text files which describes
the cult's hidden mythologies. I have elected to quote just a bit of the
questionable text according to the "Fair Use" legal findings afforded to
those who report. - Fredric L. Rice, The Skeptic Tank, 09/Sep/95

This is from the McShane depostion on file at eff. McShane is the
president of RTC and apparently an ex-enforcer for the church.
MoFo attorney Oakley is asking the questions:
Q. Do you know whether access to advanced
technology materials is denied if an individual is not
able to pay the donation amount?
A. Well, it is a requirement to make the
donation. So if the person doesn't make the donation,
they will not get the service.
duh! That's why we call it a donation!
Q. Is it your view that posting the materials
out of sequence makes the Scientology documents subject
to ridicule in a manner they wouldn't otherwise be
subject to?
A. It is more than just out of sequence. It
is posting any of them in any sequence. [too right]
One, you wouldn't understand my answer in
the first place because we'd be talking about the
phenomenon that occurs when you people see those
materials.
I understand laughter. I think all "us people" do.
A. Well, if the person has access to those
materials or views those materials ahead of time, when
he's not ready for them, then it may deter him from
ever doing the levels.
'Dat de plan, Willie!
