Since some of the materials which describe the $cientology cult could be
considered to be copywritten materials, I have censored myself and The
Skeptic Tank by deleting any and all possible text files which describes
the cult's hidden mythologies. I have elected to quote just a bit of the
questionable text according to the "Fair Use" legal findings afforded to
those who report. - Fredric L. Rice, The Skeptic Tank, 09/Sep/95

The discussion on alt.religion.scientology, for the most part, does not
deal with the substance of the religion. If people want to believe in
Xenu and in talking to animals and commanding plants to do their bidding,
then by all means, they can believe that. What we object to are the
tactics employed by the Cult of Scientology to suck people in and suck
them dry of money. This isn't a question about religion. It's a
question about coercion and torture and the ability of people to
criticize a church unmollested.
Maybe you should find out a little about the discussion on
alt.religion.scientology before flaming.
I'm going to delete your 3rd rate analysis of history below so you aren't
embarrassed too much.
