(Typos mine, used without permission) -- Michael Reuss Honorary Kid ********************************************************************** Editor's headline: "Case is about law, not Scientology" When I first became aware of the phenomenal popularity of L. Ron Hubbard's "Dianetics," I wanted to find out if his methods of addressing man's problems really worked. Having received a number of services at various Dianetics centers around the country, as well as at the local Church of Scientology, I can vouch personally for the effectiveness of his technologies. My life is much better as a result. My ability to study, to teach and to communicate are only a few of the areas in which I've made sizable gains. The Larry Wollersheim case now in the news is not about the Church of Scientology, its practices, its effectiveness, its social betterment programs, etc. It is about the breaking of copyright laws by a man who, unable to live up to the church's own standards of ethics, seems bent on doing damage however he can. I'm certain that law-abiding citizens applaud the church's efforts to protect its documents and materials. Adam Rosenthal Teacher, Denver Public Schools
