Order Professionally-printed Leaflets Now! Date: 28 Aug 1995 20:57:13 GMT Organization: University of Okoboji Perloo & Glee Club Lines: 49 Distribution: world Message-ID: <41taj9$> Reply-To: NNTP-Posting-Host: Summary: Readers Digest articles make fine party favors at a clambake Keywords: xenu find some plants or trees criminal cult scam The _Reader's_Digest_ articles exposing $cientology strike me as perfect leafleting material for picketers - the whole $cientology thing is so off-the-wall-sounding that the audience tends to dismiss whatever they hear as kookery -- but the Reader's Digest is well known and widely trusted. The second article, from 1981, tells how the $cienos harassed RD senior editor Methvin after the first article appeared. Seems not much has changed in fourteen years. To order reprints of article appearing in the _Reader's_Digest_, send snail mail to: Reprint Editor Reader's Digest Box 406 Pleasantville NY 10570 Prices for reprints from the most recent issue are quoted as follows: 10 copies - $7 25 copies - $15 50 copies - $27 100 copies - $50 500 copies - $90 1000 copies - $140 Make checks payable to Reader's Digest. I have no idea if reprints of the 1980 and 1981 articles can still be ordered, nor if the prices would be the same. The articles exposing $cientology as a criminal scam are: "Scientology: Anatomy of a Frightening Cult" Reader's Digest, May 1980 "Scientology: The Sickness Spreads" Reader's Digest, September 1981 --- Joel Hanes Every article of mine cancelled by the CancelBunny results in a $100 donation to the Dennis Erlich Defense Fund.
