I am Executive Director of FACTNet. If you have not heard about it on the Net already, our electronic library and archive on cults and mind control was raided August 22, 1995 by the "Church" of Scientology. The details of how we are fighting and beating this illegal raid are now being covered by media all over the world and discussed by hundreds of thousands of Netizens in alt.religion.scientology and the dozens of other newsgroups around the net that have been posting on the daily updates. In Scientology's raid on us key documents and files necessary to defend ourselves from false charges were seized. $30,000 of our state of the art computer equipment and software was also taken and in spite of repeated court orders has not been properly returned to us. Under these disadvantages, we cannot defend ourselves adequately. You or some expert you know may be able to come to our aid. FACTNet needs experts and knowledgeable parties in the areas listed below to assist us in evaluating the actual origins and nature of the documents now widely known on the Internet as the "Fishman Geertz documents." Religious occultism Satanism eastern and western black magic initiations and rituals initiation rituals of ancient and new secret societies OTO (Ordo Templi Orientis) initiations Nazi occultism UFO secret initiations The "Fishman Geertz documents" contain secret initiation rituals of the hidden Scientology. People pay HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars to Scientology just to be able to see these documents. We believe these individuals are also deceived by Scientology as to the many physical and sanity risks (suicide, attempted suicide, and psychosis) when they do these secret initiation rituals in a hypnotic state. Important research that was seized from us by Scientology in the raid also leads us to believe that L. Ron Hubbard (the founder of Scientology) plagiarized significant portions of these "Fishman Geertz" rituals from other occult group's secret initiation rituals and then falsely copyrighted them in his own name. It is critical to our trial defense that we quickly reassemble and collect all additional material that proves this plagerization. L Ron Hubbard was involved in and\or researched many occult secret societies before he gave birth to Scientology. How high a master was he in the OTO is still being determined, but Hubbard WAS privy to information on many different occult secret initiation rituals. The scarcity of religious experts in these areas, the small numbers of people exposed to the highest secret initiations of small occult groups and the general secrecy surrounding occult groups makes this research all the more difficult. That is why we are contacting all possible resources of information for this research. If you feel inclined to help us with this research, promote open dialog on the internet and remedy the gross injustice of Scientology's illegal raid we would deeply appreciate your immediate help. To begin this process enter the dialog on the "Fishman Geertz documents." From what I am told, finding the "Fishman Geertz document" is not difficult if you ask in the newsgroups dealing with current Internet "hot topics" or Scientology (alt.religion.scientology). After you have done some dialog and scholarly research on these materials we would appreciate copies of any initial reports or evaluations you create for both us and our lawyers. If you also feel so inclined feel free to publish your reports on the origins and nature of these materials in other appropriate Internet discussion groups. After we receive your initial reports or evaluations we will contact you and where applicable about further work and involvement as an expert witness for the court case. Sincerely, Lawrence Wollersheim Executive Director of FACTNet factnet2@lightlink.com P.S. Our limited and volunteer staff is stretched to the limit. Please also feel free to help us by posting this request to all other APPROPRIATE newsgroups that deal with religious, occult, magic, satanic, UFO and secret society issues. ÿÿ
