Alan Cartright is mentioned in Tom Voltz' book "Scientology und (k)ein
Ende" ("Scientology with(out) an end"), published in the "Walter
Verlag". See pages 203 and 208:
Voltz went to see the Scientology headquarter to sort out the matter of
the personality test. There he dealt with Sabine Peschken, boss of WISE
and Alan Cartright of Scientology's legal department. He writes that
Cartright forbid him to take his attorney along.
"Alan Cartright stressed: 'You are not going to leave this room until
you have given up all your rights to the test.'
The threats became more massive, diffaming and hurting. They requested
new security checks and finally said that they would ruin me utterly
professionally. The attacks were so massive, that I started to feel
insecure and without solution. I did however get the saving thought to
call my attorney and my conversation with him let me see things clearer
again (...)
On the 3rd of April I learned from my attorney that in the meantime I
was being called a 'blackmailer'. He himself had been called by the
ethics-officer of Clearwater, Florida, he (as a scientologist) would
have to come to Clearwater within 48 hours to receive a "security
check".
