Finally got around to looking at some of the propaganda on theta.com,
and found this in one of the articles from FREEDOM magazine, at the
rather ironic URL <http://www.theta.com/freedommag/lies.htm>:
"I guess golfing partners couldn't even help [Gates]," read part of
one posting. Another posting anonymously accused the President of
being involved in an alleged "bag job" with Gates, and another
falsely claimed that Microsoft was considering acquiring the Roman
Catholic Church. In each case, as the postings were anonymous,
Microsoft was unable to take action against the defamation.
You know, I saw that post about Microsoft acquiring the Roman Catholic
Church. It was on alt.humor.best-of-usenet, as I recall, having been
posted originally to misc.invest.stocks, and upon further investigation,
I discover that the original poster was *not* anonymous.
So, either the author of the Freedom article was deliberately lying to
the magazine's readers, or the author was unable to evaluate data and
recognise humour...

article is still available at DejaNews, if anyone's interested; it's a
hilarious piece.)
