If we as a people are afraid to speak our minds because it causes embarassment to powerful entities like Co$, then we are little more than serfs and slaves. Any pretension to "freedom" then becomes imaginary. It would be an enormous tragedy if the decisions in any these cases were sealed from public scrutiny. It would be *entirely* inconsistant with their past actions if any of these people allowed themselves to be silenced in exchange for lucre. Perhaps I am niave, but I do not believe that these heroic people will trade the truth in for cash. The whole point of this struggle is to save another generation of children from $cientology predation, predation that is made possible because the public is largely uniformed of the magnitude of the abuses of Co$. To take cash in order to allow $cientology to once again hide behind sealed decisions trivializes the nature of the assaults on Dennis, Tom, Netcom and the FactNet three. It would be a travesty. I don't believe it will happen. I look forward to reading the decisions. -- == Daniel Davidson == ** Don't hit. Clean your mess. **
