Steve Quarrella:
I have been chuckling about the tornados in Alabama. Not so much at the tough luck of the people who have been hit, but more at the irony of the situation.

Here's a state where there have been all kinds of hoopla about the Ten Commandments in the courts and prayer in the schools, with all kinds of piety contests and proclamations about doing God's will, and what happens? God sics a couple of tornados on them.

Although we're not yet out of twister season here in Dallas, the spring has been -extraordinarily- mild, by comparison. <knock wood>
