Hi folks!
There have been a few behind-the-scene changes with TNX lately.
The first change is that Doug DeStafeno, from RelayPoint.net,
has picked up the networking charges for TNX. RelayPoint is
an ISP in the LA region. Not only has Doug picked up the cost
of the internet connection but he paid to have it upgraded
to a much higher speed.
TNX now goes out at 12 times faster than it used to. All
of the TNX support crew (Ron Chester, Steve Porter and I)
have seen a BIG difference in performance.
The second big change (also courtesy of Doug) is that we now
have the domain name "tnx.org". This means that instead of
sending your tnx postings to "pvid@rivendell.com" you should
send them to:
pvid@tnx.org
Please change your aliases, etc. to point to tnx.org when
SENDING email.
You don't have to do anything to receive TNX. You just need
to change where you send email that you want to go out to
the group.
I have set up a computer that is dedicated, 100%, to running
TNX. Our group keeps growing, and the amount of theta keeps
increasing! :> It is exciting watching us outgrow our earlier
system and needing larger resources.
