Moon-Scientology Link Proposed
The head of Scientology in Moscow, Vladamir Kuropiatnik, was reported to
have sent a letter in February to Unification Church leader Sun Myung Moon
expressing his wish that the correspondence -- headed "Re: Cooperation of
our Churches" -- will help "start a new level of relationships between the
Unification Church and the Church of Scientology in Russia." Kuropiatnik
reportedly added: "I believe the future of this country and the whole
world with it depends on our two churches, on how fast we act. I would be
happy to know from you what is needed or wanted from us. God bless you!"
