Fredric Rice:
I wonder when the cultists are going to come out with a version of their paper idol which corrects the many contradictions and scientific mistakes.

David Rice
They already tried it, with the New Inspired Version and The Living Bible version (NIV) and (LB). But every time they corrected one contradiction, they created others. Eventually they were reduced to PRAYING over how to rewrite their Bible.

"...when the Greek or Hebrew is not clear, then the theology of the translator is his guide, along with his sense of 'logic....' The theological lodestar in this book has been a rigid evangelical position."

The NIV is a shameless attempt at reconciling contradictions by intentionally altering the meanings of the Greek words that it is translating.

Which is damn funny, because the Bible itself says that damnation awaits anyone who does this.
