Notice: Fredric Rice may have removed segments of the replies given to
questions if they contained copoyrighted materials. After a very short
while, Scientology "experts" refused to answer questions and
started cut-and-pasting copyrighted cult propaganda. Additionally I
removed URLs in some of the replies, and left them in others. And it's
also important to note that eventually the unfortunate "Greg
Churilov" cultist was ejected from
askme.com for his typical Scientological behavior.
Anonymous asked this question on 4/13/2000:
I have come to the conclusion that people need to explain what
happens when they die and fear of the unknown has made this
elaborate hoax that is named religion it is a cause of many
disputes and even wars! I gave up arguing religion because I have
found that people enjoy being retardedly happy leaning on their
crutch that there is this all powerful god that will protect you
from harm.
However how many more Waco's and Ten Commandment Cults will happen
in the name on religionu think yours is different? By the bible
every one of the ten commandments has been broken in the name of
God. The massacre of the Ammokites< for ex and David and BEthseba,
so tell me is it only sin when god doesn't tell you to do it?
Greg Churilov gave this insane response on 4/18/2000:
I agree with you partly, and disagree with you on the whole.
Yes, Religion has been used a a crutch, has been an excuse to meddle
in politics, has been used for personal gain, has been degraded and
perverted, has been used to start wars and burn people at stakes.
This is all deplorable. Man is a fairly stupid being, especially in
mobs. But the fact remains that religion is an integral part of
what makes us US. Os a Scientologist, my view is that our passion,
our drive for life can be catalogued into 8 dynamic drives, 8
"relationships": Self Sex and family Group Race All living things
Al things material All things spiritual The Supreme Being, the
Infinite
Now, each one of these can be perverted and degraded and twisted
into knots to cause unhappiness. Or, each of these can be developed
and created as a work of art, to elevate and sanctify one' existence.
Sex is a great example.
How many crimes, murders and degraded acts have been done for sex?
And yet sex, in a sane and clean form, drives the family, the raising
of children, becoming an adult, romantic love, and many other wonderful
things.
So it is not the dynamic that is in question, it is WHAT MAN DOES
WITH IT that is in question. best, Spirit

Subject: I have about quit arguing religion
[Oh boy! There's Hubbard's insane dysfunctions cropping up again. Hubbard
suffered under the insane delusion that sex was created by psychologists
to control humanity. Hubbard admitted to numerous sexual problems in a
document he called his "affirmations." Hubbard was absolutely
sick. He and Jack Parsons engaged in ritual sex magic and tried to create
a Satan baby - flr]
