Notice: Fredric Rice may have removed segments of the replies given to
questions if they contained copyrighted materials. After a very short
while, Scientology "experts" refused to answer questions and
started cut-and-pasting copyrighted cult propaganda. Additionally I
removed URLs in some of the replies, and left them in others. And it's
also important to note that eventually the unfortunate "Greg
Churilov" cultist was ejected from
askme.com for his typical Scientological behavior.
Subject: Org Offices
Anonymous asked this question on 5/1/2000:
Is there really an office in each Org set aside for L.Ron Hubbard for his
return?
Greg Churilov gave this typical response on 5/2/2000:
Yes, and NO.
There is an L.Ron Hubbard office in EVERY bonafide Scientology
Organization.
And NO, nobody is foreseeing Mr.Hubbard's return. L.Ron Hubbard was a
brilliant man, but he passed away in 1986.
The purpose for the LRH Office is legitimacy and authentication.
Originally, when LRH was running the Scientology Network, it was a
courtesy to set aside an office for his use in case he happened to fly in
to inspect or supervise an organization. Eventually this became a
tradition, as a sign of respect for Mr.Hubbard and to symbolize that he is
the spiritual leader of the local Church.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s many small bands of parasites
decided to capitalize on Scientology's reputation to create "self-help"
centers of their own, calling it Cientology, or Dianometics or whatever
(brings to mind the cheap Rolex knockoffs sold in Tijuana).
The way the Church of Scientology prevents these frauds and keeps
quality control and supervision over its organizations is through control of
the Copyrights and Trademarks that represent Scientology.
And symbolically, by keeping a well preserved L.Ron Hubbard office in a
prominent space in the building of every TRUE Scientology Organization.
It has similar symbology to the picture of Bill Clinton seen in every
government office. One does not really expect the President to walk in,
but it honors his leadership.
