Notice: Fredric Rice may have removed segments of the replies given to
questions if they contained copyrighted materials. After a very short
while, Scientology "experts" refused to answer questions and
started cut-and-pasting copyrighted cult propaganda. Additionally I
removed URLs in some of the replies, and left them in others. And it's
also important to note that eventually the unfortunate "Greg
Churilov" cultist was ejected from
askme.com for his typical Scientological behavior.
Subject: Prozac?
Anonymous asked this question on 5/2/2000:
Why does the Scientology church oppose the use of Prozac?
Greg Churilov gave this insane lie on 5/3/2000:
Prozac is a highly addictive serotonin altering drug. Withdrawal
symptoms from it include suicidal ideation. There have been over 1800
deaths associated with this drug, including the famous murderous spree
of Joseph Wesbecker that started the "disgruntled postal worker" thing.
My mom was on Prozac for 4 months in 1993. She still suffers from
partial memory loss and mood swings as a result.
best,
PS: Incidentally, it was the makers of Prozac (Elli Lilly) that paid
for an 8 page smear article on TIME magazine against Scientology after
Scientologists began picketing Prozac.

Hi. You're an idiot. Prozac is not addictive. It does not cause memory loss.
According to another expert, Joseph Wesbecker had a lifetime problem with
violence and suicide long before he took Prozac. Even before he took Prozac
he said he was going to "shoot a bunch of people" at work.
Why are you LYING to me?
As for the _Time_ magazine article, do you fear black helicopters and
communists under the bed?
