Notice: Fredric Rice may have removed segments of the replies given to
questions if they contained copyrighted materials. After a very short
while, Scientology "experts" refused to answer questions and
started cut-and-pasting copyrighted cult propaganda. Additionally I
removed URLs in some of the replies, and left them in others. And it's
also important to note that eventually the unfortunate "Greg
Churilov" cultist was ejected from
askme.com for his typical Scientological behavior.
FredricRice asked this question on 5/8/2000:
I'm not sure who to ask inside of Scientology and I'm not sure they would
give me an answer even if I called upo and asked.
L. Ron Hubbard Jr. was disinherited by his daddy. Was that because he
was gay or do you know if there was some other reason?
Thanks.
lrfarny gave this response on 5/9/2000:
Well, Ron DeWolf's (fka L. Ron Hubbard, Jr.) wife would certainly be
surprised to hear you accusing him of being gay. But then again, if
they read the Internet they'd know that facts were never your strong
point.
They answer to your stupid question is No.

Another _real_ expect provided the information I was looking for. In fact it
was Quintin Hubbard that was gay.
And tellingly enough, the real expert that provided the information didn't
have to resort to name-calling and disrespectful hatred when correcting
my question.
As for the disinheritance, it was, I'm told by a real expert, due to an
argument over the fees that L. Ron Hubbard Sr. was charging his
followers. Apparently -- though the expert answer I received didn't cover
the details -- there was disagreement in how to maximize revenues.
You know, you don't have to apply Hubbard tech tone 1.1 on every answer
you give people. Why not just do what real experts do and answer the
questions nicely and honestly?
