Notice: Fredric Rice may have removed segments of the replies given to
questions if they contained copyrighted materials. After a very short
while, Scientology "experts" refused to answer questions and
started cut-and-pasting copyrighted cult propaganda. Additionally I
removed URLs in some of the replies, and left them in others. And it's
also important to note that eventually the unfortunate "Greg
Churilov" cultist was ejected from
askme.com for his typical Scientological behavior.
Anonymous asked this question on 5/9/2000:
Does anyone know what the difference between the book "Scientology: A
new slant on life," written by L. Ron Hubbard, and the book "Scientology":
A new slant on life by L. Ron Hubbard" written by the IRS?
lrfarny gave this response on 5/9/2000:
You are confused. No Scientology books have been written by the IRS.
Scientology: A New Slant on Life is by L. Ron Hubbard.

Actually, another expert who knew the answer already got back to me on
this. You're telling another unfortunate whopper.
Hubbard wrote a book called "Scientology: A New Slant on Life." Several
years later, after his death, the IRS re-issued a look-alike book with the
title "Scientology: A New Slant on Life by L. Ron Hubbard" which contained
greatly altered materials. It was written by an IRS agent apparently at the
behest of either CST or ASI.
If you don't know the answer to questions, might I suggest you don't
attempt to answer it anyway?

This web page (and The Skeptic Tank) is in no way connected with
nor part of the Scientology crime syndicate. To review the crime syndicate's
absurdly idiotic web pages, check out www.scientology.org or any one of the
many secret front groups the cult attempts to hide behind.
