Notice: Fredric Rice may have removed segments of the replies given to
questions if they contained copyrighted materials. After a very short
while, Scientology "experts" refused to answer questions and
started cut-and-pasting copyrighted cult propaganda. Additionally I
removed URLs in some of the replies, and left them in others. And it's
also important to note that eventually the unfortunate "Greg
Churilov" cultist was ejected from
askme.com for his typical Scientological behavior.
FredricRice asked this question on 5/11/2000:
The subject line really asks it all. There are copies of OT8 all over the
network and I see that there's a claim by one of the cult's many lawyers
-- Helena Kobrin -- that the OT8 documents are forgeries. But that then
calls into question why they were identified as copyrighted materials when
the cult raided Arnie Lerma's offices.
Do any of the Scientologists still inside know if they're real or if they're
forgeries? Do any of the ex-Scientologists here know if they've seen these
documents inside before?
Thanks.
Note: I'll web your answer unless you tell me otherwise, if you don't mind.

As a non-Scientologist, I honestly don't whether or not OT 8 level
material that has been circulating on the Internet is a forgery or not.
My opinion is that the text is most likely to be authentic. Scientology's
claim that it is a forgery is not compelling. They've used that same
excuse in the past, for things that are well-documented to be
authentic.

Thanks. I think there's something of a concensus regarding OT8. It's
impossible to tell until further evidence comes out of the organization yet
the texts certainly match everything else that's come out so far.

This web page (and The Skeptic Tank) is in no way connected with
nor part of the Scientology crime syndicate. To review the crime syndicate's
absurdly idiotic web pages, check out www.scientology.org or any one of the
many secret front groups the cult attempts to hide behind.
