Notice: Fredric Rice may have removed segments of the replies given to questions if they contained copyrighted materials. After a very short while, Scientology "experts" refused to answer questions and started cut-and-pasting copyrighted cult propaganda. Additionally I removed URLs in some of the replies, and left them in others. And it's also important to note that eventually the unfortunate "Greg Churilov" cultist was ejected from askme.com for his typical Scientological behavior.

It occured some time in 1975. I have not been able to find the proper document anywhere.

Thank you.

Desertphile gave this response on 5/13/2000:

Spring of 1976 actually.

Cazares was the major of the Florida town of Clearwater in the mid-1970s. He had the misfortune to be mayor at the time Scientology secretly entered the town (as "United Churches of Florida") in its eventually successful attempt to create a "Land Base". Cazares was identified by the "Guardian's Office" as a key target to be neutralised and was subjected to numerous covert operations aimed at discrediting him and preventing his re-election. The latter aim was successful.

"Streetman" was covert operation designed to foil Gabriel Cazares' campaign to run for Congress. This document indicates that the GO had an agent in Cazares' campaign staff.

Other "ops" were to frame him for homicide and generally slander and libel him whenever and where ever they could.

This web page (and The Skeptic Tank) is in no way connected with nor part of the Scientology crime syndicate. To review the crime syndicate's absurdly idiotic web pages, check out www.scientology.org or any one of the many secret front groups the cult attempts to hide behind.

Further facts about this criminal empire may be found at Operation Clambake and FACTNet.
