Nut Liars! Scientology expert on
Purchasing a product unseen

Notice: Fredric Rice may have removed segments of the replies given to questions if they contained copyrighted materials. After a very short while, Scientology "experts" refused to answer questions and started cut-and-pasting copyrighted cult propaganda. Additionally I removed URLs in some of the replies, and left them in others. And it's also important to note that eventually the unfortunate "Greg Churilov" cultist was ejected from askme.com for his typical Scientological behavior.

FredricRice asked this question on 5/11/2000:

Greetings!

Now [wait] a minute and hear me out, please. Don't go automatically circleing the wagons just yet, if you would.

I have a two-part question for all of the experts on Scientology that are still inside of the cult.

You might see what my next question is going to be yet hopefully you'll be able to offer an honest answer and even give some consideration to my question and to your answer. Yet my question is, would you purchase a used automobile sight unseen from someone? And, sight unseen, would you then extoll the wonderful benefits of that automobile regardless of what you might have heard or read about it and the used card salesman in the newspapers and television stations of your neighborhood?

larrybergen gave this response on 5/11/2000:

Frederic refer to my religion as a cult and you insult me. I won't answer your mail, despite your efforts to publicly humiliate me or my Religion. That tactic doesn't work on me, If you want to ask me a question do so nicely. By the way I accidently opened this, I don't read anything from you any more you sound like a broken record half the time. I've never bought anything sight unseen , neither a car nor my religion. And I'm not about to buy into your silliness. I recommend anybody who is interested in Scientology to ,yes go into an organization and check it out for yourself. You can even waste time on the bogus websites, I did. I've read the J. Atack book, the cooper book, the russel miller book. And guess what I still know Scientology works.

So you got a win today Fred, I finally answered one of your insulting questions. One of what now freddy, fifty? A hundred? I've declined to answer over 100 questions in this category, though most were duplicates. So live it up Fred. This is last question I'll answer from you. Ask Desertphiles and Honorarykid, they have the message you're interested in, not me. Spread it elsewhere.

FredricRice asked this follow-up question on 5/11/2000:

Thanks, Larry. That's the first part of my question. The second part is:

Since you wouldn't normally purchase a vehicle sight unseen, why did you purchase Scientology without first knowing what you were buying? I am talking specifically about OT3, Xenu, body thetans, and the other aspects of Scientology that are kept hidden until _after_ someone buys into it.

And please, climb down from that tree. No one here is trying to hurt you; I wish to understand the Scientology cult better and it's only through its writings and the comments by its followers that I can get to understand Scientology.

Thanks in advance for your _calm_ and _rational_ answer.

larrybergen gave this response on 5/12/2000:

You assume too much Frederic, as I've said I haven't purchased anything sight unseen.

End of communication.

FredricRice asked this follow-up question on 5/15/2000:

Does that mean you knew about Xenu and body thetans _before_ you bought Scientology?

I ask because I've been unable to find the "proper terminal" inside of Scientology to ask about Xenu. Every time I ask, the person turns avariable shade of red and professes to know nothing about Xenu.

Since you knew about Xenu and body thetans before you bought into Scientology, could you tell me where you went to find out about it before hand?

Thanks.

larrybergen declined to answer on 5/15/2000:
