Public Relations Survey

Has anyone thought to survey the public to get an idea of the
public opinion of Scientology?
It might be interesting to go to 100 complete strangers and
ask them what they think of Scientology and have them give
it a rating.

I've done this informally at parties, and think it a good idea,
perhaps for a picket to get a broader base. Curiously, the
majority of people I've asked think it's a dangerous group,
and something to fear. A smaller, but still surprising number
have had a bad experience with them, either personally, or
with friends and family.
The rest seem to know nothing about them. I have yet to
find one supporter who thinks it a good thing!
