The Hidden Secrets of the Scientology Cult

Question answered by CuddlyFuzzyTeddyBear in Scientology

FredricRice asked this question on 7/25/2000:

Again this question is more for Scientologists still stuck inside of the cult, however I'd like to web everyone's answers.

I'm curious why Scientology's management doesn't tell people about Xenu and Body Thetans ad everything else that forms the core of Scientology. I'm curious why the truth about what Scientology actually is all about had to wait for the court system to make public. Thanks!

CuddlyFuzzyTeddyBear gave this response on 7/27/2000:

Fred,

there are so many potential answers for this.

it is indeed frustrating for us all to even have to continually ask such questions (and others) of a group that refuses such communication. when lrh was alive, he was the apparent arbiter of all group decision.

now scientology has a managment that is not accountable to any one. least of all it's own parishoners. the organization is in some ways fixed to a destructive pattern that no one is allowed to change.

i personally have come to feel that the biggest injustice lrh ever made to the followers of scientology was to not write up a simple, clear explanation of the nature of the universe. it's history, how we got into this condition, and also how the universe is set up now. he only makes little refences here and there about seemingly random bits of information. if things were so vital, he would not have assumed everyone would have read everything or listened to all his tapes, but would have written up a nice summary of how things actually are (in his view).

there are certainly enough other bizarre tidbits in his tapes that, to me, the xenu story is just another one.
