The Hidden Secrets of the Scientology Cult

Question answered by barb131 in Scientology

FredricRice asked this question on 7/25/2000:

Again this question is more for Scientologists still stuck inside of the cult, however I'd like to web everyone's answers.

I'm curious why Scientology's management doesn't tell people about Xenu and Body Thetans ad everything else that forms the core of Scientology. I'm curious why the truth about what Scientology actually is all about had to wait for the court system to make public.

Thanks!

My opinion is that, if they told you this stuff initially, people would walk away shaking with mirth! Imagine! Their secret levels involve the story of the evil Galactic Overlord Xenu and the fact that we are not human, but alien spirits called 'Thetans.'

Xenu captured us and injected us with glycol and alcohol, after luring us in with a tax audit. Then he brought us, paralyzed by the injection, to Earth, also known as 'Teegeack.' Somehow he stuffed billions of us into craft that resembled DC-8s, only with rocket engines, and put us in volcanos, which he detonated with nuclear weapons. Then he collected our spirits with a sort of fly strip, and showed us 3D movies, which we have mistakenly accepted as real. At this point, since we had all seen the same movie, we thought we were all one, and started to clump together like kitty litter.

Hubbard taught that we are covered in these spirits, sort of like dead space cooties, and that this is the cause of all our problems.

Now, would you sign up if you heard that right off the bat?
