Say What?
Question answered by formerscientologist in Scientology
Xenos_Kraikos asked this question on 7/23/2000:
I once was approached by what I think was an invitation to
Scientology. That was a long time ago. What is Scientology
really? And also, what does SP mean or what is an SP?
formerscientologist gave this response on 7/27/2000:
Why we critics of Scientology are SP's. SP stands for
suppressive person. An SP is someone who is afraid of
others getting better or stronger and therefore seeks to
attack and destroy any betterment groups. Since
Scientology has such idealistic goals, anyone who would
attack Scientology is obviously an SP.
Scientology is a religion that sells self improvement
techniques. The aim of Scientology is a world without
criminals (search the net for information about the GO and
the OSA), without insanity (read about Lisa McPherson),
and without war (just a cold war between Scientologists
and its critics).
Scientology sells a bridge to total freedom (Read about
Scientology and totalitarianism).
Scientology teaches that the key to better relations and
understanding is communication. (Learn about their
disconnection policies.)
We SP's are terrified of Scientology and its betterment
techniques.
