other intention

In keeping Scientology Working after handling counter
intention to Scientology, the next target is other intention.
What does this really mean? Will Scientologists attack other
religions the way they attack critics?
honorarykid gave this response on 8/21/2000:
I've always hated the ease with which Scientologists use
the word "attack." To them, everything is an attack on
their religion. Every single tidbit of criticism, no matter how
meritorious, constitutes an attack on their freedoms, their
civil rights, their religion. It's ridiculous. The overuse and
hyperbole by Scientologists regarding the word is beyond all
reason.
But, if we use the Scientologists definition of the word
"attack" then Scientology already does "attack" other
religions.
Scientology insults Christianity. Hubbard taught that
Christianity is nothing more than a brainwashing implant for
deluded people. He claimed to have astrally traveled to
Heaven and saw that it wasn't anything special. He claimed
that "there was no Christ" in one of his lectures, and that
we all have been deluded and brainwashed by Xenu to
sympathize with the image any person who had been
executed by crucifixion, thereby explaining the Christ
mythology.
Hubbard made the same types of comments (attacks)
against the Muslim religion, claiming that the prophet
Muhammad was not really Divine in any way, but just
claimed to be in order to drum up traffic and business for
his home town.
Also, Scientology has well documented policies (which are
hidden from new members, BTW), forbidding "mixing
practices." Mixing practices means other religious practices.
The prohibition of mixed practices begins after one reaches
a certain training level within the study of Scientology,
after which they are pressured into dropping the practice
of rituals in another church.
Also, for staff members within the CoS, outside interests
that take their minds off of Scientology (and their
production of income for Scientology), are also frowned
upon quite overtly. So even secular hobbies which take
time can be said to be "attacked" by Scientology, if one
uses it's own, bloviated definition of that word.
However, I would guess that Scientology has NO
orchestrated plans to actively undermine or drive any other
religious organizations out of business.
