Two questions/ Defending Scientology
Question answered by formerscientologist in Scientology
Anonymous asked this question on 8/25/2000:
Would crusading on behalf of scientology, against its critics,
be considered a "just cause?"
formerscientologist gave this response on 8/25/2000:
That depends on what type of crusading is done and who
considers it. Obviously any crusading Scientologist would
consider the crusade a just cause.
If a group of Scientologists decide to organize a Martin
Luther King or Ghandi style demonstration in Germany for
the right to practice their religion that could be considered
a just cause.
But to attack someone just for being a critic with the
intention of suppressing him and censoring the truth--that
should not be considered a just cause.
