Question answered by honorarykid in Scientology

blank24 asked this question on 9/6/2000:

Hey, what will the hate group here do when they get their hands on their perceived adversaries? Are they like that middle eastern dictator guy who had his men make a video of tearing apart dogs and cats with their bare teeth a couple of years back? Will they be like that?

honorarykid gave this response on 9/7/2000:

Oh please! Blank24, you're getting downright silly.

If I got my hands on you, why I'd sit you right down in a noisy grill (noisy so we could talk without drawing too much attention) and I'd buy you a meal and a drink.

That wouldn't be a suppressive act, would it? In fact, this is exactly what Scientology's big bad suppressive enemy #1 Bob Minton did for a cadre of Scientologists in Toronto after a picket event. He bought the whole damn frightened bunch of them lunch.

Are you sure your "hate group" analogy is a good one? I don't recall the KKK ever buying their victims lunch.

If you'd be amenable to a free lunch, I can picture the scene in my mind's eye.

After we finished eating and talking, we'd get up, walk out into the street, shake hands (if you wanted to) and I'd say "good evening, please think about everything I've said."

Then you'd go home with a full stomach and a full mind - full of some surprising and startling new knowledge about things you hadn't previously known about Scientology.

That night you wouldn't sleep very well. You'd be tossing and turning, your mind racing with thoughts that you haven't allowed yourself to think about for a long time.

Later, you might be sad and a bit lonely, feeling a new distance between you and your Scientology friends. You'll find excuses to avoid them, and not talk to them, since you'll know that talking to them about your new nagging doubts will get you written up in a KR. And you won't want that, not for a awhile.

You might think about calling someone, me or Tory Bazazian, or Stacy Brooks at the Lisa McPherson Trust. You might find yourself uninstalling the Scienositter software so you can check out a.r.s... ;-)
