Lisa McPherson

Can anyone here look at the Lisa McPherson autopsy photoes (
http://www.parishioner.org/agree.html ) and _not_ think it
obvious that she was severely mistreated prior to her death?
honorarykid gave this response on 9/15/2000:
For those who don't know the story, Lisa McPherson was a
pretty, youngish (35), Scientologist who died of a pulmonary
embolism while being held captive at Scientology's Fort
Harrison Hotel in Clearwater, Florida, in a "religious" ritual that
Scientology calls the introspection rundown.
The idea of the Introspection Rundown procedure is to
completely isolate a mentally disturbed person, until they
calm down enough to resume Scientology hypnosis and
self-hypnosis procedures, which they believe will always be
effective in handling the original problem that led the person
to become psychotic in the first place.
In Lisa McPherson's case, the Isolation Rundown did not
succeed at calming her down. It killed her.
The photos taken of her body at the autopsy are quite
disturbing, so don't casually surf over and view them. If you
do wish to view them, I suggest that you mentally prepare
yourself.
Obviously, Lisa was mistreated by her fellow Scientologists.
The photos of her corpse show some severe bruising, which
is consistent with the logs of her guards, who said that at
various times, she was jumping around, and falling down.
It would be nice to hear Scientologists say they were sorry
for the way they treated her. But I'm not holding my breath
waiting for such an apology. So far as I can tell, no
Scientologist appears to feel any sorrow or guilt for results of
the church implementing L. Ron Hubbard's theories.
