Lisa died of natural causes?
Question answered by formerscientologist in Scientology
escapee asked this question on 9/17/2000:
Scientologist said: . Coroners from around the US have stated
that Lisa's death was from natural causes.
I haven't studied the official information. I'm sure someone has.
Is this statement true, or has Scientologist been misled?
formerscientologist gave this response on 9/17/2000:
I'm not a medical practitioner, but I believe that if a person
has something wrong with her such as a blood disorder, then
that would be a death from natural causes.
However, in a healthy young woman, this is not usually the
case. The evidence (not proof) indicates that the embolism
was caused by a clot that was due to severe dehydration.
The OSA is denying that the Scientologists are responsible
for her death--their idea of good PR.
Regardless of whether the embolism was natural or not,
prompt medical attention could have saved her life.
The evidence shows that she gradually deteriorated in health
over a period of time, and that she didn't suddenly take a
turn for the worst.
One Scientologist reported that Lisa was breathing heavily,
crawling on the floor, and too weak to walk on Dec. 2. They
waited 3 more days to take her to the hospital.
Scientologist has been misled.
