Question answered by honorarykid in Scientology

Anonymous asked this question on 10/5/2000:

Hi, I'm looking for the contact information for the group that is paying people to rate the cultist's answers with 1 star and the experts answers with 5 stars.

I already get my pay packet every other week, along with new instructions on how to deal with each expert, but lost the address to sign up new readers. Seems "they" forgot to include it in the package. Is there a "hiring bonus" for getting others to rate answers?

Does anyone here have the address? Private answers are OK.

honorarykid gave this response on 10/5/2000:

I was tempted to answer you in the same joking manner as the question was posed, but as several others have already done that, I don't want to run the humor thing into the ground. Although to be sure, the cute jokes about secret conspiracies by Marcabian space aliens and English Bankers are based on actual, L. Ron Hubbard "scriptures" and policies.

I'll answer seriously.

I rate poor answers as '1' and good answers as '4' or '5' stars. I don't care which positions are being advanced.

As a pro-Scientology expert, Imredfox has given several good answers which I have rated highly. And tenspan has also gotten a few high ratings from me. There have been some mistaken answers from experts critical of Scientology which I have rated lowly (although, I admit, this is not common, as most critical experts seem to care about the issues, and try to address the question honestly, and with some thought and research applied).

Most of the '1' stars I give are for "answers" which don't really answer the question, but only seek to propagandize, or which contain misinformation or claim knowledge which I know to be false or misleading.

A sure fire way to get a '1' star rating from me, is to vomit up an unthinking, non-responsive boilerplate response.

So, as we have seen too often here, if a pro-Scientology experts answers a specific question with something to the effect of "everything you'd ever want to know about this issue can be found at www.scientology.org, there's only one rating that such an answer deserves.

Hope this helps.

Well, I haven't read the other answers yet (I read them in reverse order), but it seems we actually do have the same rating system.

I, too, have rated a few of tenspan's answers rather highly.

Insightfull answers always get a 5, and trite answers get a 1, humor and/or politeness in the face of "jerks" can boost the ratings I use.
