Do Scientologists approve of assault?
Question answered by escapee in Scientology
Michael_Crichton asked this question on 9/18/2000:
Bob Minton, a prominent critic of the CoS, was recently
assaulted by a Scientologist on a public sidewalk, in full view of
witnesses. Do the Scientologists here approve of such
assaults?
escapee gave this response on 9/23/2000:
Not if it puts Scientology or Scientolgists at risk. If the
attack on Minton meant a law-suit against the COS the
person doing the attacking would be in much disfavor. If the
attack resulted in public disapproval, then again the
attacker would be in much disfavor.
However, if the attacker did the attack without any risk to
Scientology or Scientologists, then that would be up to each
individual members of the Church of Scientology whether or
not he/she/it (just in case there is an infiltration of
Marcabians) as to whether or not they approved of such assaults.
