Travolta dodges sect trial
John Travolta has cut short a trip to France to promote his latest
film because he feared he would have to testify at the trial of fellow
scientologists accused of fraud. Travolta left in his private jet,
saying he had urgent business in the US. The religious sect counts
Travolta and fellow actors Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and Kirsty Alley,
among its members.
