I didn't record it and I didn't take notes (I rarely listen as after hearing
the first show it's really much the same every day. I take notes when another
talk-show covers seperation issues or other interesting stuff.) Limbaugh lumps
everyone into two camps: Limbaughts and Liberals. It's not entertaining to
listen after awhile... and he's really nothing but entertainment for the
simple minded who expect repetition and mindless conformity, I opine. I don't
consider him a political gladfly as he doesn't really hold mainstream interest.

Bob called up to make an ass of himself and to basically proceed no point, just
getting his voice on the air so that he could say that he once argued with Rush
Limbaugh. He wasn't prepaired with any subject to discuss, argue, or debunk.
(That's my evaluation of the caller.) That's a mistake when walking into the
enemy camp and preaching to the chior.

About the only thing that Bob said of any real value was that right-wing
extremists don't represent the American people nor do they represent the
majority of the Repukelican Party. Bob appeared to be a Moderate and was
trying to suggest that most Americans adopt a Moderate position and don't like
either leftist extremists or rightist extremists. (The fact that the
Repukelical Party was hijacked by right-wing extremists got some mention, as I
recall, yet was glossed over.)

Limbaugh lost his cool and demanded that right-wing extremism _did_ represent
the American people; that Limbaugh himself represented the majority. "People
are tired of 'Liberals' and demand a change!" rhetoric was used with Limbaugh
being the vehicle of that change.) Bob, in other words, picked-up on
Limbaugh's ego and manipulated him into making the statement that he (Limbaugh)
represents the American people -- a very broad sweeping and undeniable mistaken
bit of wishful thinking.

The actual words were difficult to understand -- alternate viewpoints are
usually talked over once the viewpoint is given what is felt to be enough air
time to attack.

Limbaugh talked over Bob most of the time and didn't offer a clear channel
after Limbaugh realized he made a broad sweeping statement he couldn't back up.
To recoupe his loss, he went to a break and then came back on the air and
disemboweled Bob after he had a chance to calm down and think about what he had
done.

Doubtless Limbaugh would think he won the argument. Doubtless many right-wing
extremists would too, thinking they speak for the American people. From the
Moderate position which I hold, both made asses of themselves yet Bob
manipulated Limbaugh into a grave mistake.

Write to Limbaugh and get his impression of his butt-fucking. I would be
interested to see if he really believes that attacking callers after he's hung
up on them constitutes winning an argument.
